Information Security Manager

Care Hospice is looking for an Information Security Manager to join our growing team. The Information Security Manager leads all aspects of Care Hospice's Information Security Program, including management of compliance activities, executive level reporting and ownership of technologies and services that support the program. The Information Security Manager is hands-on with selection and operation of technology products and services and is dually focused on day-to-day security operations and project-based program improvement. The Information Security Manager will implement and enforce company policies to ensure the protection of company technology and data assets, including sensitive patient data.

• Implementation and enforcement of company technology and security policies
• Selection and implementation of security technologies and services
• Oversight of third party and internal resources that support Information Security operations and projects
• Hands on technical implementation and configuration of security products and tools
• Management of security program based on industry compliance standards and frameworks
• Contributes to IT road map development and operation by providing security expertise
• Direct ownership of incident management and resolution processes
• Evaluates and monitors Care Hospice's technologies, systems and processes for potential areas of weakness

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology or related field strongly preferred
• 5+ years focused on Information Security required; preferably in healthcare 8+ years of related experience may be substituted for education requirement
• Knowledge of industry frameworks, including ISO 27001, HITRUST and HIPAA
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud environments
• Experience working with or managing MDM platforms or services
• Skilled at developing and providing Information Security related reports
• Hands on experience with implementing and managing security related technologies and tools
• Excellent communication of Information Security related topics to both technical and non technical audiences
• Strong collaborative skills, able to partner with Care Hospice colleagues on all areas of security and technology
• Ability to lead others without direct reporting lines, through strong fact based influence

$110,000 - $135,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
