Overview

As a key financial contributor, the Revenue and Accounts Receivable Analyst leverages multiple EMR systems to drive accurate, timely reporting of company-wide revenue and receivables. This role plays a critical part in preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting collections—helping to ensure financial integrity and operational success across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver monthly and ad hoc revenue and receivables reports using the EMR system, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Assist with the monthly calculation of journal entries, contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting for the billing department.
  • Collaborate in the development and reporting of key revenue and receivable metrics to support data-driven decision-making and departmental performance tracking.
  • Partner with the management team on ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other initiatives, providing valuable insights and operational support as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by supporting the design and implementation of best-practice processes within the billing department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other applicable discipline strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years billing, accounts receivable, and revenue experience.
  • Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial hospice billing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred, NetSmart experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, articulating complex problems if they arise.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with attention to details, accuracy and deadlines.

$70,000 - $80,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
