Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower billing, revenue, and cash application teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate daily operations.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc revenue and receivables reports, ensuring insights are presented in a clear, actionable format.
  • Analyze monthly aging and trend reports to identify key opportunities, communicate findings effectively, and drive informed decision-making across teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes, providing hands-on support and leadership as needed.
  • Direct the tracking and reporting of revenue cycle performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage EDI processes and maintain financial configurations within Netsmart, including contract rates and payer requirements, while proactively identifying reimbursement variances.
  • Champion a culture of excellence by resolving escalated billing and collections issues and aligning department strategies with overall company growth goals.
  • Maintain deep expertise in all revenue cycle systems to inform process design, optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading change initiatives that elevate department operations and align with industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business or other applicable discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of five years revenue and collections management experience; preferably in a post-acute setting
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payer guidelines and compliance preferred
  • A minimum of five years supervisory/management experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience using an EMR system preferred. NetSmart a Plus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate direct reports and achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, driving change, and effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

$135,000 - $145,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
