  • This is a remote position, with the expectation to work during standard business hours (Eastern Standard Time Zone).
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% as needed for meetings, site visits, and partnership development.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze key operational metrics to assess and improve efficiency across hospice services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports on service utilization, patient outcomes, and operational costs to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of hospice locations and programs, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to the COO and senior leadership based on data analysis, driving strategic decisions and operational enhancements.
  • Develop and present interactive dashboards and visual reports for senior leadership to highlight operational performance, cost-saving opportunities, and quality improvements.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to streamline processes, improve care delivery, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance the patient care experience.
  • Collaborate closely with finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting for operational needs.
  • Conduct financial analyses to assess the impact of operational changes on overall financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Work in tandem with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to ensure seamless operational processes and superior service delivery.
  • Ensure all operational processes meet regulatory requirements and align with best practice standards for hospice care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an operations analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role, ideally within healthcare or hospice services.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, performance analysis, and operational metrics in healthcare.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other healthcare management software is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, or similar software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong skills in prioritizing, strategizing, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build professional relationships and work effectively with teams.
  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information and making sound judgments.

$125,000 - $140,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
